LSY was appointed by the client to act as lead structural engineers on the refurbishment of an existing two-story property in West London, undertaking structural design from tender to construction stage and providing site supervision during the works.
LSY Engineering Consultants Ltd were appointed by a property fund in London to refurbish an existing multi-storey commercial office development. The scope included installation of new steel structures for a cabin container designated for use as a podcast booth, removal of an upstand beam and upgrading of the cladding.
We were appointed as lead structural engineers on a £4.5m project to refurbish an existing 660m² penthouse overlooking Hyde Park Central London, UK.
Our remit was the structural design of seven newbuild properties for our client in Croydon, alongside refurbishing an existing property in the development and supervising the site throughout.
LSY Engineering Consultants Ltd was appointed by Cadent Gas Ltd to provide structural engineering services for the replacement of a 48-inch diameter steel gas main spanning Regent's Canal in London. The existing gas main, supported on masonry piers, required replacement following the identification of a cracked weld. Our appointment included undertaking an initial structural survey, assessing the existing support infrastructure, and providing structural design input for the proposed replacement arrangement. The scope of services covered the assessment of the existing masonry piers, anchor blocks, and supporting structures, together with the design of remedial strengthening measures and structural appraisals for the revised loading conditions. Throughout the project, LSY worked closely with pipe stressing engineers, mechanical engineers, surveyors, and the principal contractor to ensure the successful delivery of the scheme.
Our brief was to lead the structural engineering of two newbuild properties in South Kenton, London, from tender to construction stage, and to supervise the site when works commenced.

Our scope involved the design of temporary works required to facilitate the removal of several loadbearing structural walls, the formation of new openings in accordance with the proposed architectural layout, temporary support for roof removal works, and specialist structural support arrangements for an existing masonry arch.
