We are currently seeking a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team in London.
Job Summary:
As a Graduate Structural Engineer at LSY Engineering Consultants Ltd, you will have the opportunity to work on live ongoing projects while receiving support and mentorship from a team of experienced professionals, ranging from graduates to chartered engineers. Your role will involve collaborating with architects and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated design solutions. You will also have the chance to gain hands-on experience in performing structural analysis and design for various structures, such as buildings and bridges. We are committed to your professional development and will support you in achieving your MIStructE Chartership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist senior engineers in the design and analysis of structural systems.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated design solutions.
• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of structures.
• Utilize appropriate software and tools for structural analysis.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and codes.
• Conduct research and analysis to support design decisions and propose innovative solutions.
• Prepare reports and participate in project meetings with clients.
• Ensure adherence to relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
• Attend professional development courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Up to 2 years of relevant work experience or recent graduate.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire for professional growth.
• Reliable and well-organized.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
